VOLAPALOOZA 2018 SEEKS PARTNERSHIPS WITH THE KNOXVILLE COMMUNITY

Read below for the Volapalooza planning committee's press release through cooperation with the Knoxville Chamber, posted on the Knoxville Chamber's website on 2/21/2018.

KNOXVILLE, TENN. 2/12/18 — The University of Tennessee’s largest student-organized event of the year, Volapalooza, is right around the corner. The annual music festival will once again be held in World’s Fair Park on Friday, April 27th.

Entering its 16th year as a Tennessee tradition, Volapalooza brings thousands of students, families, and music fans in attendance each year from across the Knoxville and East Tennessee communities. This year we are projecting an attendance of between 4,000 and 7,000 people.

We are reaching out to you, members of the Knoxville Chamber, in order to expand our connections within the Knoxville community. This area has such a large network of business owners, music lovers, and creative people, and we need your help to tap into those resources.

“We are very excited to partner with the Knoxville Chamber and its members. Local businesses are at the core of our community’s history and success, and we look forward to bringing this unique opportunity to the companies that make Knoxville such a special place to live,” says Tina Pliagas, Partnerships Chair for Volapalooza 2018.

By sharing information about Volapalooza on your social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), we hope to enrich our event with valuable community engagement for years to come.
