Notably on Day 3 came the decision by the corps instructional staff and Voting Membership to move all field judges to the front sideline for the first time in DCI's 47-year history. A number of experts presented to the corps staff on weather safety, mental health, copyright and music licensing, and best hiring practices. Day 3 capped off with an energetic and inspiring Q&A with Lindsey Vento, Artistic Director of The Academy.
